Shirley Marie Harper's Obituary
Shirley Marie Harper passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022. Born September 11, 19** in California to Esther Marie Cleveland and Joseph T. George she was the oldest of 5 children.
Shirley graduated from Highland High school and then moved to San Francisco when she was 20 years old. Shirley met her husband at Disneyland, lived in San Mateo and then decided to move home to be closer to family in 1978. Shirley loved the grocery business and worked at Safeway, Skaggs Alpha Beta, Rite Aid, Albertsons, and Fresh Market. She worked many years as a Sales Manager for Jan and Glade and Combined Sales which she retired from in 2014 due to a back injury. She enjoyed going into all the stores and had built many relationships through the years.

Shirley is survived by her only child Staci Ditzer (Jeremy) who made up the entirety of her world, until her granddaughter (Sydnee 15) was born and became her world, her sister Esther Wardle (Chick), her brothers Joseph George Jr, Dennis George, her nieces Tesa Oldham (Race), Tara Wardle her nephew Richard Urry Jr. (Jodi) and her grandchildren Jarad, Omar (Stephanie), and Great Grandchildren Ariel (5), Thea (2), Abel & Ezequiel (6 months).
Shirley was an avid Mickey Mouse fan and would find unique Mickey items during her trips to Disneyland. She loved to take vacations to Vegas, enjoying spending time in the casinos, shopping and occasionally catching a show. Shirley loved to have her granddaughter over for the weekends, to play games, cook and spend time together.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Joseph T. George, Esther Marie George, her sister Barbara Urry (Richard), her sister-in-law Connie (Joey) and her ex-husband Neil S. Harper.
Per Shirley's request there will be no services.
