1927 - 2018\r\nOur beloved Mother, Grandmother returned home to heaven. Shirley Moyes age 91, of Salt Lake City, passed away September 3, 2018. Shirley was born July 3, 1927 to Joseph and Dorothy Neuman, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shirley worked for over 30 years at the YWCA in Salt Lake City. Shirley loved to garden, be on-the-go always doing things, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Neuman; husband, Jack Moyes; sisters, Joyce Estancona and Barbara Soprano; children, Susan Tonc and Donald Moyes; grandchildren, Brandi Tonc and Nicholas Tonc. She is survived by her companion of 29 years, partner in life and caretaker Jay Henninger; two sons, Kenny (Tracey), Larry (Dina); her son in law, Anton Tonc; and daughter in law, Mary Moyes; her grandchildren, Shannon, Danielle, Tony, Jess, and Jared; her eight great-grandchildren; and her best friend Evelyn. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Hospice Nurses and CNAs that cared for Shirley in her final days, especially Ryan and Shianne.\r\nA visitation for Shirley will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday September 6, 2018, at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 E. 100 S., Salt Lake City, UT. \r\n
