Valerie Ann Vestal Sabol
June 6,1935-January 19, 2021
Valerie was born in Albuquerque, NM to Clifford Ernest Vestal, Jr. and Mildred Irene Dugal Vestal (both deceased). She died in Salt Lake City, of natural causes.
Valerie lived in Albuquerque until her Sophomore year of High School in 1950 when she moved to San Diego, CA. She was a professional ice skater with Ice Capades from 1953-1958, and worked as a flight attendant with Western Air Lines from 1958-1969.
Valerie met George Sabol, the love of her life on June 12,1963 and married him on June 12, 1969 in Jackson Hole, WY becoming the step mother to his four children. They enjoyed a wonderful life until George’s passing on January 21, 2015. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine Berry and Linda Whittaker, step daughters Kathleen (Peter) Jaeger of San Rafael, CA, Sherry Sabol of Midway, UT, Dianna (Eric) Heffner of Carlsbad, CA, and step daughter in law Carol Sabol of Salt Lake City, UT. George and Valerie had twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband George J. Sabol, step son George J. Sabol, Jr. and her sister Betty.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers of Danville Support Services and Valero Hospice.
