Charles E. Price's Obituary
Charles (Charlie) E. Price passed away on November 17, 2023. He was born May 10,1939 in Pueblo, CO to Frances Pugel and Roscoe J. Price. He was married to Dale P. Sweeney on August 1,1959 at St Mary's Parish in Warren, RI.
Charlie was a Veteran of the United States Army and served all over the world. He specialized in
casework as a CID Agent. He retired as Sergeant First Class from Fort Douglas in 1978 and has been a resident of Sandy, UT ever since. He then worked for over twenty years with the Jordan School District. He was an active member at Blessed Sacrament Church for a very long time. Charlie was proud to be a member of The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed football, golf, bowling, and coaching youth sports teams. In his later years, he liked woodworking and would make small trucks to give to hospitalized children.
Survived by his grandchildren, Charles J. Price and Nicole D. Price, and great-grandchildren Ivy and Lily Price. Preceded in death by his wife Dale, son Charles (Chuck) Price, and parents Frances and Roscoe J. Price.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 9757 S. 1700 E. Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 10am-11am. Interment will take place at Utah Veterans Cemetery under the care of Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home immediately following the funeral mass.
