I was blessed to be Ida’s sister-in-law for 57 years, and in that time I came to know her as a woman of quiet strength and deep love.
Ida carried so much of her mother Cleo within her, her manner, her presence, and the values she lived by. She shared a special and loving bond with her " hermano", Rubel, one rooted in family and loyalty.
Ida always showed up for the Salaz children. She was there for their moments, their milestones, and their lives, offering love and support.
Above all, Ida lived her faith. Ida demonstrated her faith in our God by the way she lived her life and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her. " She is in the presence of God ."
