Patsy Valoy Kuronya's Obituary
In Loving Memory
Patsy Valoy Wilson (Amodt) Kuronya 1936-2022
Patsy Valoy Kuronya, 86, passed away August 2nd 2022, in Murray Utah.
She was born January 1st, 1936 in Salt Lake City Utah, to Paris Anthony Wilson and Cecilia Kaumans Wilson. Married Carl Clarence Amodt and together they had Carl Gene Amodt and Kenneth Dean Amodt, later divorced and married Stephen Robert Kuronya and together they had Patricia Ann, and Daniel Wilson Kuronya.
She was dedicated to all her family and took very little personal time for herself or hobbies, except for her dolls and a little kiln work. She was a loving mother always thinking of what she could do to make somebody else's life easier, she was for ever asking, "what can I get you, what can I do for you, or, that's not enough, have more."
She had a life-long fondness for motorcycles, and always trying to get a response from others. Pronounced them as motor-Sackles, instead of motorcycles.
Utterly faithful to her family, she loved every one of them to the end. Always giving, she lived a reputable life as a catholic, and had two aunts who were nuns in the church, Sister Agnus Kaumans, and Sister Magdelan Kaumans, sisters to her mother Cecilia.
She worked at Cudahy Meat Packing in her younger years, and later became a physical therapist to which she was very valuable in her field and to her doctors... she quit, left her job to care for her ailing mother till her death... after taking care of her husband until his death.
She was a second mother to all her grandchildren, and followed them throughout their lives, school, sports, and motorcycle racing. She would cook for anyone who was hungry, having her Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners was something always special and everyone looked forward to and will never forget.
She loved gardening, she loved her country music, she loved her dogs (Penny, Patches, Freckles, Muscle-I, Muscle-ll, Muscle-lll, Blue, Kiesha, Sasha, and Chopper), and became best friends with an orphan cat (named Kittens).
