Puran joons photo with my grandma, Ghavi Mozaffari, who were best friends in Utah. My grandma is to the left of her and my mom (Pouran Mozaffari) to the right of her. My grandma is now with her friend, together in peace, looking down on us and protecting us all.
The second picture is a picture of Puran with her daughter Helen and me. We visited her in July 2024 in Utah.

It is with a heavy heart that I write these words in loving memory of Mrs. Puran Saeed, my Aunt’s dear friend and someone I was blessed to know for almost the past forty-eight years.
She was truly one of the most beautiful souls I have ever known. So kind, so caring, so genuinely positive and sweet — her presence alone brought comfort and warmth to everyone around her. She had a gentle spirit and a radiant heart that made the world a better place. To me, she was not just my Aunt’s friend; she was family.
Mrs. Puran Saeed was truly an angel on this earth. Her love, grace, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts. The memories she gave us are priceless, and her light will continue to shine through all who were fortunate enough to know her.
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go to her beloved sons, Shahab and Shahrokh aziz, her dear daughter, Helen Jan, and all of her family who were so dear to her. May God give you strength, patience, and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Puran was a very special woman. She was caring, thoughtful and always smiled when we spoke. I felt like she cared for us as much as she did for her own children and family.
We were at least 13 families that we gathered every Saturdays at someones’s home or at Sugar House Park. Each Saturday was rotated by one family. We would all gather to eat, play or just talk about something we did. I always looked forward to Saturdays because I could see my friend Helen. She was like my sister.
We were like a big family, everyone would gather together with their own age groups. Guys would play soccer in the park and their children’s would play in the playground. While older men would play card games and their wives would share recipes of food or new places to spend time.
Another memory I have is that we went to Purans home because they had a swimming pool. We would all gather there to swim, eat and talk.
