Puran Saeed's Obituary
A Life of Service
Puran Talebreza Saeed lived an exemplary life dedicated to service to those around her. In her company all felt accepted, loved, and cherished.
She was the one sister among five brothers. Iraj and Jamshid were older than her and Jahangier, Saifi, and Bijan the younger brothers. She married Hushang Saeed in 1958.
In her teenage years and twenties she constantly worried about her brothers who had gone abroad for higher education, trying to make sure they were safe and had the resources to complete their degrees.
She devoted her life to raising her three children, her five grandchildren, and most recently, her six great grandchildren according to the principles of the Baha’i Faith. Chief among these principles is the unity of all mankind.
Puran was a tireless advocate for education and she ingrained in all those she raised, or helped raise, a dedication to truthfulness, honesty, courtesy, kindness, generosity, valor, helpfulness, and service.
She is now reunited with her husband, parents, and four of her brothers.
Along with a company of the Lord’s favorite angels, she will continue to watch over her family and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, Puran would want us to donate to a charity of our choice or provide a service to someone in need.
Funeral services will be on 10 AM Friday, February 27th at
Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home along with a live stream for friends and family from around the globe.
Details about the livestream will be available soon on the official Neil O'Donnell Funeral Home website.
